Kathgodam - Almora
Reach Kathgodam in the morning by overnight journey from Delhi. Travel to Almora from Delhi. After arrival at Almora, check-in to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Almora.
Almora - Munsiyari (198 kms)
After breakfast, travel from Almora to Munsiyari, Today the road journey would be incredible by the wooded hilly areas having fabulous views of the mountains. Arrive at Munsyari and check in to the camp & you are free for the sightseeing of nearby area of Munsiyari.
Munsiyari - Leelam
After breakfast, drive half an hour and meet the mixed horses' team. Today follow upstream the Gauri River Ganga and trek down to 1500 meters. Later climb softly towards the camp and have lunch in Leelam which is located by the hillside. Dinner & overnight stay at the hotel.
Leelam - Bogdyar
After breakfast, complete the formalities at Indo - Tibet Border Police checkpoint and climb through the broad and nicely made track which shows the recent good relation of India and China and the border is opened for the limited business. Stay overnight at the tent.
Bogdyar - Rilkot
After breakfast, start your trek to Raillkot. In spring months, this track is full of shepherds and the snow-clad bridges. View the first time the snow-covered peaks and cross by the shrines towards the gods of a mountain top. After climbing for three hours see an apparently insane track located highly.From this trail view, the peaks at 7000 meters and have the lunch. Now walk through flood mixed paths and visit a fort located on a hilltop at Railkot. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.
Rilkot – Pacchu
After breakfast, walk to Martoli and further trek Pachu valley. On the entrance of Pachu Gad, there is a lesser covered valley that has a view of Nanda Devi and Tirsul mountains. Stay in the camp located at the square of the village under the house of the headman.
You may see here the Nanda Devi’s images carved on the doors. Few homes have pretty carved doors of wooden, the windows frame and the cautiously walled field under are abandoned. Dinner & overnight stay at the camp.
Pacchu - Base Camp
After breakfast, today the trek will go to Pachu Gad having the superb views of Nanda Devi and Nanda Devi East. The sunsets out here would be so amazing and beautiful. Dinner & overnight stay at the camp.
Base Camp - Milam
After breakfast, today return back to Milam. Dinner & overnight stay at the camp.
Milam - Milam Glacier - Milam
After breakfast, Today take a day return excursion of Milam Glacier(4100 meters). Here would be the outstanding view of the spotless ice exposed by wreckage during the trekking tours that go by the Milam Glaciers left bank. Dinner & overnight stay at the camp.
Milam - Bogdyar
After breakfast, trek far from Tibet border towards the humid gorge. Dinner& overnight stay at the camp.
Bogdyar - Munsiyari
Today morning takes lavish breakfast and this would be the very long and real day during this trek and see the cold beer and the hot showers. Dinner & overnight stay at the camp.
Munsiyari - Almora
After breakfast, travel back to Almora. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Almora.
Departure to Kathgodam (362 kms)
After breakfast, travel back to Kathgodam/Haldwani. You get plenty of bus services and trains from here. Our trek services will end in Kathgodam.
Description
Milam glacier is the major source of the River Gori Ganga which originating from Tirsuli and the southern slope of Kohli, Milam glacier is a truly magnificent trekking destination in the Kumaon Himalayan region. Milam Glacier trek passes through several solitary hamlets, lush green alpine meadows dotted with wild flowering plants, evergreen whispering, and raging forest and varied landscape simply grab the imagination of every explorer.
Milam is one of the moderate to challenging treks in the Kumaon Himalayan region that takes almost a fortnight to trek. The trailing track to Milam Glacier commences from the month of May and the odyssey winds up in the mid of October.
The Milam Glacier trek takes approximately 10 – 15 days of trail and trekkers from Munsiyari to Munsiyari. The actual trek to Milam Glacier starts from Bog Udyar, which is a drive-able distance from Munsiyari. Milam glacier trek is a moderate level trek.

Mountains are always an attractive tourist destination. Apart from Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir, which are both very famous tourist destinations, Uttarakhand is a developing mountain state that has many hidden gems just being discovered. View is pretty beautiful.

Birthi Falls is a beautiful place surrounded by nature and snow clad mountains all around. The Birthi Falls is one of the beautiful nature's gifts located on the way to Munsiyari via Thal surrounded by tall green Hills and can be seen from the miles away. To reach near the falls a few minutes trekking is needed from the road. The fall is at a height of around 400 feet and is located in Munsiyari (on the way to munsyari). The place is a must go and certainly the place is a much more to see and visit. Water is ice cold in summer.
