He was the one who contributed a lot towards the establishment of the park. Further, this park was set up to save the critically endangered feline species – the Royal Bengal Tiger. It was the very place where Project Tiger was launched in 1973. Presently Corbett is a home to various species of fauna and flora.

I loved the place. It is inside the forest where u can see river at one side and forest on another side. At night u can hear animal's sound. We had experienced tusker roar n his presence near the guest house. An amazing experience and something new n adventurous. I loved there.
A very well maintained forest rest house where the facilities are very good. The rooms are spacious and furnished. The food is excellent. A good place for relaxation. An excellent place to stay for wildlife photographers, since they can get more time in the forest.
