Surkanda Devi Temple

Dedicated to Goddess Sati, the temple is known for its classic architecture. As per mythology, this is the spot where Goddess Sati's head fell. It is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths. Surrounded by dense forests, the temple offers a picturesque view of the Himalayas.

Kodia Forest

Around 5 km from Kanatal is the serene Kodia forest, which is accessible by an easy trek. A popular picnic spot, the route to the forest offers grand views with several natural springs. You can also enjoy a safari inside the dense forest.

Kausani is a hill station situated in Bageshwar district in the State of Uttarakhand, India. This beauteous hill queen is perched at an elevation of 1890 metres. It is advised to viist this place in winters to witness snowfall. Also Kausani is famous among tourist as Hill Station and Peace full Surroundings. Kausani is recommended destination for newly married couples. The pack season starts from late March till end of June, temperature drops to 2°C during winters. This place is transformed into snowy during the winters months of October to February. Visit this place during this period if you enjoy snow fall & cold climate.
